Computerling privacy

Computerling is made by WAW Etc Ltd, registered in England and Wales (no. 17466895), 29 Chalk Hill, Watford WD19 4BL, and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ref. ZC261095). Contact: hello@wawetc.com.

We do not collect your data

The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or servers of ours. Nothing you make or do in it is sent to us.

What stays on your device

Your notes, sheets, pictures, songs, tasks, bookmarks, open windows and settings are stored only on your device, in the app’s own storage, and are included in your device backups. Deleting a file moves it to the Trash; emptying the Trash removes it from the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Ask and writing help

Ask and the writing help use Apple’s on-device model (Apple Intelligence). Your requests, and the file names, tasks and text they need, are processed on your device and are not sent to us or anyone else. If the model is not available on your device, nothing is sent anywhere.

Your calendar

The P-93’s agenda can be linked to the calendar on your device, if you choose to. Only then does iOS ask for calendar access. Linked, the agenda shows your events and saves new entries to your default calendar, which syncs as your calendars already do (iCloud, for example). Computerling reads and writes the calendar on your device only and never sends it to us. Unlink it in the agenda, or turn access off in Settings.

The browser

The browser is a temporary session. When you visit a site, or search (searches go to DuckDuckGo), your requests go directly to that site, which has its own privacy practices. Cookies and site data are discarded when the app closes; bookmarks are kept on your device.

Sharing and the clipboard

Share sends only what you choose, to the app you pick. The app reads the clipboard only when you paste.

Questions

Write to hello@wawetc.com. Under UK and EU data protection law you may ask what we hold about you; for this app the answer is nothing.
